 WCAX NEWS- Dr.Keady interview

Thank you for your interest in procuring services provided by Keady Family Practice. We have a staff of five ARNPs and two MDs. Our operation has changed significantly from how we used to deliver healthcare services. Currently, we are providing most of our services outside the clinic or utilizing telehealth services. Our mission at Keady Family Practice has always been to serve our community with the highest quality services possible. We remain dedicated to fighting COVID-19 effectively and safely while utilizing the most current data, technology, and resources available. If there is a need, we do everything possible to fill it.

  • We are the first medical service provider in our community to provide drive-thru COVID-19 specimen collection and testing with our partner, Quest Diagnostics Laboratory. KFP is the only medical service provider in Sullivan County to maintain a drive-through for healthcare services, allowing patients to remain in their cars.

  • We are the first primary care provider in the state to provide COVID-19 antibody testing with our partner, Quest Diagnostics Laboratory. At the time of this writing, KFP is the only COVID-19 antibody site in Sullivan County.

  • KFP is the private practice in the state, licensed to provide on-site testing for nursing homes..

KFP can achieve first in the state services due to our exceptional staff, the research of process and protocol, and staff willingness to serve patients despite the high risks to themselves and their families.

COVID-19 ANTIBODY COLLECTIONS & TESTING

If you would like more information about getting tested, please call your primary care office. You must have an order to get tested. KFP patients can make an appointment via telehealth before proceeding to Quest Diagnostics Laboratory.

Due to state restrictions, we currently do not provide testing to the public except for healthcare and emergency workers.

Disclaimer: Antibody testing should not be used as the sole basis for a diagnosis of COVID-19. Nor should antibody testing be the sole basis to inform infection status or to exclude the presence of infection. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, COVID-19 antibody testing may indicate that "the person has been exposed to the virus and developed antibodies against it, which may mean that person has at least some immunity to the coronavirus." Currently, COVID-19 Antibody tests are not FDA-approved but under review with the FDA.
